generally how much it costs to live in an apartment?
I'm trying to understand how I have to be carried live by myself. I have no car yet, I'm saving up for one. I live in Jacksonville, North Carolina and I can not understand how much need to take a month to live by myself, that's like gas, insurance, rent, food, all the work. someone can enlighten me or at least give me a ballpark figure?

Basically what a finance company uses to determine the amount providing money to buy a used car. I'm not looking for a seller's value in exchange, retail or private – the things that I can get Kelly Blue Book or Nada. I'm looking for a calculator that will give me the value of a used car loan based on the year, make, model and mileage.

My husband and i are in the process of buying a new car and they inforemed is that they will need a cosigner?
we found one his best friend that lives out of state. but the problem is that we already have a car financed and owe 4200 on it they said that the banks will take the loan but we have to trade in our current car. which we are happy about but does the fact that the cosigner already have 2 auto loans open under her name affect whether she can be our cosigner? the finance person at the dealership said that that wouldn’t matter but we still aren’t to sure, we don’t want to mess up her credit as well as ours by taking this deal and getting screwed in the end.

well the vehicle that we currently own will be traded in so that we would currently only have one car payment and the cosigner is a friend who has perfect credit and a great income. we can afford the vehicle due to the fact that we do not pay any rent or bills besides for the current vehicle that we have
It is important to understand that to co-sign a loan means that you will be responsible for payment of the loan. The obvious, and extremely serious, risk is that if the loaner defaults (meaning stop paying), the co-signer is legally responsible to pay the entire remainder of the loan. It doesn’t matter if the remainder of the loan is $100 or a million. And it doesn’t matter if the co-signer says “But my friend says they were going to pay off the loan”. Legally, *any* signer on the loan is responsible for payment.
In addition, opening too many loans (co-signed or not) will negatively impact your credit rating. That is not something you want to do, particularly right now with the economic situation as it is. If you are young and trying to build up your credit rating, you need to be extremely responsible with the number of credit cards you open and the number of loans. Also, any late payment or failure to pay will seriously impact your credit rating….by as much as 100 points.
So the above poster is correct in saying that if the dealership is demanding a co-signer, your credit is not good enough. They are just trying to make the sale and are not interested in *your* well-being. So be careful on both ends.

Helpful things to look at for High Point:
Did they quote you line-per-line on coverages
Did they Run your motor vehicle report and do they have exactly the same info reported
Are you getting a “transfer discount” (lasting usually your first 6 months)
In essence, did you provide exact, to-the-last-detail info to High Point? If you haven’t then your quote may be wrong. 35% is a huge difference and you should find out why!
I Know I haven’t answered your question yet but I strongly recommend you do the above first.
Then, take a look at A.M Best insurance ratings. They provide answers to all of your questions like “what is customer service like?” and “how financially stable is the company”. It is a free site, it simply requires you to register (create a username and password, no fees of any kind) I use it often as they have excellent insight to thousands of companies, not just Insurance.
Compare the 2 companies on the website.
You may also want to call Geico for a free policy review to determine if they can lower your rate.
